So Close

Distance seems straightforward enough. You take a few steps, check the map, and there you are. Except that it doesn’t quite work that way with people, places, or life in general. Someone can be far away and still feel close, while a person standing right next to you can seem miles away.

Sometimes the shortest distance turns out to be the longest one.
