First Light
(Edited)
From my windows, sunrise is just rooftops, antennas, wires, and birds. It seems like the same scene every morning. Yet somehow, it never gets old.
Sometimes I wake early enough to catch that brief stillness before the sun appears. I simply stand by the window and wait for it to rise above the roof right across.
Two or three minutes pass — and the city is already bathed in light. But it’s those quiet moments before sunrise that I always want to hold on to.
