Let's Play "Splintered" Full Demo

Splintered is a retro-themed RPG that looks and play similarly to the original Dragon Quest for NES. I played the Demo during the previous HIVE NEXT FEST; this video is my footage of that playthrough. I loved how retro this game felt, up to the smallest details, but it still has quality of life features that aren't in the original Dragon Quest, thank god.

The story is about an unnamed hero whose Kingdom was betrayed by their allies, namely his uncle, and he has to take revenge. It's silly, but works. The Demo didn't show any story further than this, though. Most of it is fighting monsters and gaining experience.

Not sure if I'm going to get the full version of this game, but I like 8bit style graphics, so I guess this one will stay in my wishlist for a time.

It would be fun playing retro-style games for crypto. I remember finishing the original Dragon Quest game (It was called Dragon Warrior in the US) and the music and sound effects are pretty much permanently etched into my brain. !BBH
