Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a turn-based RPG with a war-themed story and battles. The game follows the story of Nowa’s fight against the Empire, and features a cast of 120 playable heroes. Below you'll find the current most recent video I uploaded of this playthrough.

48 - Rescue Kids
In this session, we finally reach Norristar, the last remaining big nation of the league. We talk with the King and we try to help drive the Empire away.
But in the middle of our meeting, a child comes from the nation's outskirts and asks for help. The King couldn't spare the army for that one, but Nowa of the alliance decided to help them. The boy, Rudy, takes us to his snowy town and it looks beautiful!
There, we try to save the trapped children in the cave. To be honest, navigating the cave wasn't easy and I spent a major part of the session there.
It looks pretty, though.

I was reading up on the top RPGs for Playstation and this was in the top 10... one thing they did warn was that it starts out extremely slow and has random encounters along the entire game. I may still give it a go anyway though because I like the idea of having such a huge amount of playable characters at your disposal.
No, no... Eiyuden Chronicle is a modern game, it's a PS4 generation game.
If you're thinking PS1, you're probably confusing it with Suikoden, which makes sense as Eiyuden Chronicle is a spiritual successor to that series. It's different, though. It's not as slow as you may imagine.
I didn't mean PS1, was just referring to the company name of the console. my bad. I have put it on my wishlist and am just waiting for a sale.
as luck would have it there was a sale the very same day I typed this to you. I picked it up for $20, which is cheap enough.
