MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 3/ WEDNESDAY 8TH NOVEMBER 2023

Today teaching was great and bro Eli taught us a lot of things about prayer.

2 Peter 2:1 False prophets appeared in the past among the people, and in the same way false teachers will appear among you. They will bring in destructive, untrue doctrines, and will deny the Master who redeemed them, and so they will bring upon themselves sudden destruction.

False prophet are in existence since the world has been in creation even in the time of the apostle, they have been in existence and still in existence. The Bible is telling us to be vigilant, the only person permitted to teach the doctrine is Jesus Christ and what Jesus want us to know is in the Bible and this should be our guideline.

We are taught to compare with the Bible and doctrine of different churches to know which one is good and which one to attend or believe in.

Romans 10:9 If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.

John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners; he does listen to people who respect him and do what he wants them to do.

Sometimes we felt hopeless not knowing who to call or run to, at that time God is our last hope. All we have to do is surrender to him and pray to God. He will answer if we come with a guinue heart.

Some people pray always but their prayers is in vain. We cannot be commiting sin everyday and expect God to answer us. God will not answer the request of evil people or people that do things that does not please him.

Matthew 6:7-8 When you pray, do not use a lot of meaningless words, as the pagans do, who think that their gods will hear them because their prayers are long.8. Do not be like them. Your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.

The rosary was received in the year 1214 by saint Dominic which is about 1200 years ago. The rosary is not in the Bible and God did not preach it or tell us he was going to send it before ascending to heaven. This shows that it is not right to pray with it, it is a sin the rosary permit us to be repeating a words many times which the bible is against. Repeating words many times is against the doctrine of our lord Jesus Christ. God is not deaf or slow in understanding, there is no need repeating our request many times.

Isaiah 65:24. Even before they finish praying to me, I will answer their prayers.

Our Creator is everywhere and can hear our smallest prayer even in the midst of the storm. One way for our prayer to be accepted is to have a clean heart, forgive one another, not to show off when praying and avoid speaking one word many times.

Psalm 95:6. Come, let us bow down and worship him; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

The best posture to assume when praying is bow down but God permit other posture depending on the circumstances we find our self in. If our health conditions did not permit us to bow we should not worry because our God in heaven sees and understand everything.

1 Corinthians 3-7But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God is supreme over Christ.4. So a man who prays or proclaims God's message in public worship with his head covered disgraces Christ.5. And any woman who prays or proclaims God's message in public worship with nothing on her head disgraces her husband; there is no difference between her and a woman whose head has been shaved.6. If the woman does not cover her head, she might as well cut her hair. And since it is a shameful thing for a woman to shave her head or cut her hair, she should cover her head.7. A man has no need to cover his head, because he reflects the image and glory of God. But woman reflects the glory of man.

What the Bible want to teach us in this verse is something spiritual he is not speaking of our natural hair what he means is that there are hierarchy of power we should submit to and respect God is the first in this hierarchy follow by man then the woman. The woman should respect her husband which is the sign of authority over her then the man should submit to Christ which is also the sign of authority over him. Anybody that does not submit dishonoured his/her head.
