MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 11/ MONDAY 23RD OCTOBER 2023

Today mass indoctrination was powerful has bro Eli taught us that there are some decisions God has left for us his children to decide upon.

As Christian and members of the true church God leaves some decisions for us to make not everything he want us to do per time is written in the Bible he sometimes allows us to use our initiative, what we have study in the Bible to judge but God knows that the human nature is wicked and our initiative can sometimes be deceiving so he gave us the holy spirit to direct and guide us always. This holy spirit dwell with us twenty four hours and has the capacity to speak and guide us if we are a true Christian.

Among the things God leaves us his children to decide is

1 . The vow we make.
2 . The act of doing good to others and giving.
3 . Giving thanks to God.

"Number 30:2. When a man makes a vow to give something to the LORD or takes an oath to abstain from something, he must not break his promise, but must do everything that he said he would."

Vows are the words we said or decide between we and God to do without anybody influencing our decisions. Different people makes different vows for different reasons but as Christian our main aim of making a vow should be to bring us more closer to Christ or prevent us from falling off the race. For example:

"Act 18:18 Paul stayed on with the believers in Corinth for many days, then left them and sailed off with Priscilla and Aquila for Syria. Before sailing from Cenchreae he had his head shaved because of a vow he had taken."

Paul makes a vow to shave his head, he has to do it before sailing with Priscilla and Aquila to Syria. He might decide to delay it till when he gets to Syria but no he fulfil it immediately he could. As Christian when we make a vow we should fulfill it immediately we have the power to do that, not that you make a vow not to smoke again to God and we say till next year before I start fulfilling it no you have to start immediately you make those vows. God will not judge us for not making a vow, he will only judge us through the vow we have make with our own mouth. We have to be careful of the vow we make to God.

"2 Corinthians 9:7 You should each give, then, as you have decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly."

"Isaiah 1:19 If you will only obey me, you will eat the good things the land produces."

"Matthew 6:2-4 So when you give something to a needy person, do not make a big show of it, as the hypocrites do in the houses of worship and on the streets. They do it so that people will praise them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full. 3 But when you help a needy person, do it in such a way that even your closest friend will not know about it. 4 Then it will be a private matter. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you."

We are taught that has a true believer we should always be ready to do good. Doing good without complaining or show off is what God want. God also promised to bless us if we do good. In doing good we have to follow the holyspirit for example we are walking on the street and we see someone looking hungry and thirsty and with us is some money we should be able to buy the person some food and water and not that we start looking for where it is written in the Bible that when we work and see someone hungry we should help. God left those decisions for us to make according to our power at that moment. Giving is important in the house of God because the gospel cannot flow well and reach all part of the world in the absence of funds we are also made to understand that we should not serve God because of money.

"1 Thessalonians 5:18. be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus."
"Colossians 3:15 The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful."

Thanksgiving should be our daily activities, we should always thank God for what he has done and what he will still do. We should pray for God to bless us with his peace when we have this peace no circumstances of life will be able to move us from giving thanks.
