It's a great privilege to be partake of another mass indoctrination service, today service was great and bro eli enlightened us about the doctrine of our lord Jesus Christ.

"1 Timothy 6:3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching."

"Matthew 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, 'This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!''

There are many teachings going on today but the only teaching we are permitted to listen to as true Christ is the teaching of our lord Jesus Christ because God gave Christ to us as our teacher and he back it up with his word in the bible any other teaching apart from this is evil and we should not follow it because God himself has given us a guidelines. If we get to any place and what is been taught cannot be found in the bible we should disregard it.

In performing religion we should be serious about it and be careful at the same time to avoid been deceive by fake teachers of the bible that display themselves as prophets, pastor, evangelists or any other name they gave to themselves.

"Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

For us to be disciples of our lord Jesus Christ we need to be baptized and then learn the commandments of our lord Jesus Christ. If we check the book of

"Galatians 1:13 For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it."

"Act 22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptised and wash your sins away, calling on his name."

We see the apostle Paul was not a Christian before but immediately he became one the first commandments that was given to him is for him to be baptized we can see that baptism is also a commandment in the Bible but we have to first receive the word which is the gospel then got baptized before we can be members of the true church.

"Act 20:28 Keep watch over yourself and all the flock of which the holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherd of the church of God, which he brought with his own blood."

" Ephesians 3:6 This mystery is that through the gospel the gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and shares together in the promise in Christ Jesus"

As Christian it is important to join and be a member of a church we should not be deceive by those claiming that joining a church is optional no, if the church is not important God will not buy it with his own blood for someone to purchase something with their blood means great value is place on that thing. Irrespective of our tribe and culture God is asking us to join so that we can be part of the blessing attached to it. The church is to eternity and the purpose of God for the church is to make know the wisdom of God.

The church should be called by the owner name which is God any other name that the church is been name apart from church of God is wrong.
