Hola Hola mi queridísima comunidad amantes de las mascotas, un tiempo sin compartirles, pero hoy estoy feliz de poder hacerlo nuevamente.

Te presento a Chloe -¡ah cierto- ya la conocías (en todas mis publicaciones de esta comunidad ella me acompaña), sí, ella realmente es un "algo" bastante grande en mi mundo y no hay forma de evitarla.
Resulta que desde hace varios días tenemos trifulca en casa debido a un mal hábito muy arraigado en su personalidad canina 😅, la niña en sus ratos de ocio toma las uñas de su patica posterior trasera y se las mastica, se las recorta, de tal forma que siempre las tiene más cortas que las de su par, aunque, como hace poco menos de un mes se las recortó el veterinario (¿recuerdas?) no lucen tan disparejas.
Pudiera parecer un hábito inofensivo pero el resultado de su constancia es la humedad secundaria entre sus dedos que a la vez permite que se le aloje un hongo cada día más recurrente.

It turns out that for several days now we have been having a row at home due to a bad habit deeply rooted in her canine personality 😅, the girl in her spare time takes the nails of her hind paws and chews them, she trims them, so that they are always shorter than those of her pair, although, as she had them trimmed by the vet a little less than a month ago (remember?) they don't look so uneven.
It may seem a harmless habit, but the result of its constancy is the secondary dampness between her toes which in turn allows an increasingly recurrent fungus to lodge.

Pero el hongo continúa trasladándose hacia su cuerpo en la medida que ella como animalito al fin se arrasca su cuello y otras partes ¿¡qué animal no se arrasca!? -de hecho nosotros también lo hacemos-, imagínate estar cubierto de pelos y mudarlo de vez en vez, pica y mucho.
Bueno, el hecho es que tengo que aplicarle un antifúngico en toda la piel afectada y en su pata, pero la niña se molesta y me regaña enseñando sus pequeños dientes (inspirando mucho terror 😅), se queda quieta a regañadientes y después insiste en lamerse toda la zona para quitarse la crema de los dedos.Creéme es toda una batalla campal entre ambas.

Pienso que esté relacionado con el hecho de que le incomoda muchísimo embarrarse con nada, sí: es muy fina y remilgada la nena.No soporta que le caiga nada sobre su cuerpo, y es común verla acicalándose el pelo, puede tomarle algunas horas encima de mi tal y como hace un gato dándose baños con su lengua, que raro, ¿no?
A Chloe no le gusta que la hierva le moleste mientras hace pis, por lo tanto se levanta en vez de agacharse mientras lo hace. ¿Irreal?

También tenemos problemas en el área de los comestibles, por temporadas no come casi nada, o nada, eso evidentemente puede traerle problemas con su nutrición y entonces tengo que darle algunos suplementos vitamínicos y omega 3, ¿¡sabes que le encanta el aceite de higado de bacalao!? aunque después apeste a pescado por 7 días se lo doy, evidentemente tiene parentezco con los gatos.😬
De hecho a los únicos que no les busca pleito es a los gatos.

Y aunque no lo creas con su escaso tamaño es demasiado temeraria, cada vez que la llevo a pasear fuera de casa, tengo que estar muy pendiente a ella, pues la vikinga pretende declararle la guerra a cuanto ser vivo pase por delante suyo incluyendo a los perros que triplican su tamaño y que pueden aplastarla como a la más simple inofensiva y entusiasta hormiga de tierra.
Pero he descubierto algo, a pesar de querer aparentar mucha braveza, no pasa de estar ladrandoles a todos, o sea, no muerde, y aquí llegamos al dicho : perro que ladra no muerde.
He creído en algunos momentos que podría llegar a hacerlo, incluso he esperado que lo haga con personas que la provocan, pero no...solo ladra la chicuela..😂, y eso es bueno, porque me ayuda a proteger mi casa con ese estridente ladrido que suena demasiado agudo en los chihuahuas.
Así es que literalmente solo me ha mordido a mí, la que la cura, la que la inyecta, la que la obliga a comer, la que la baña y la que corta sus uñas...todo lo que evidentemente no le agrada para nada.

So she has literally only bitten me, the one who heals her, who injects her, who forces her to eat, who bathes her, who cuts her nails...all of which she obviously doesn't like at all.

Hay que quien vive una eternidad con su mascota y no la entiende, no reconoce sus gustos, sus buenos y malos hábitos, su personalidad amistosa, simpática, noble, extrovertida, tímida, dominante o sumisa, y aunque lo que verdaderamente influirá será la educación que les demos, no hay mejor manera de cuidarlos que observarlos y estar atentos a sus movimientos y expresiones, sí, porque ellos son un manojo de expresiones, ¿No te has dado cuenta?

Y si tu perro te lame mucho tal vez sea por el mucho amor que te tiene , o tal vez no, y es solo porque estás salado..(eso dicen)...😂

Y usted, amante de los animalitos cuénteme, ¿ha logrado identificar algún hábito fuera de lo común en su mascota?, tal vez hasta pudiéramos escribir un libro sobre ello.
