Trapped with my phone

What a beautiful way to say to myself "give yourself a little break from the use of phone". Hahaha 😂😂. Friends I want to sincerely admit that week 169 edition 2 is a great message for people like myself that have become too addicted to our phones. Hmmm! I don't really know how I got here, but I guess that I also need to make money on daily basis that is the more reason why I can hardly do without my cell phone.

WITHOUT A PHONE
We are in a generation of people who use their phones for business purposes and it is also becoming too difficult for one to do without a phone for just an hour. Most of the things that I do in life is connected to phone. Maybe let me give some examples- I am a content creator. Aside the fact that I am a hiver, I also do so many things online. I have a Facebook page that I manage, I also have a YouTube channel that I manage, plus I have TikTok account that I also intend to grow and monetize. All of these take a lot of time from me on daily basis. In fact I had to let go some of the account so that I can concentrate on two so as to be sure that is doing well before I can move to the next. All of these we call hustle. 😂😂

HOW LONG CAN YOU DO WITHOUT YOUR PHONE?
Hmmm! Very difficult question to answer. Not because it have no answer, but because if I want to be honest I will tell you that I hardly stay for an hour without touching my phone. From all that I listen above that I do with my phone, I find it difficult to stay away for too long except for the fact that the battery is down or data issues or maybe health issues too.

We live in a generation where people hardly get a job even after spending a lot to study a course in the university, people still come out to search for job for years. So everyone needs to look for a way to get a job online or offline. Fair enough we can find something to do online that pays even if you are not getting exactly what you want, at least at the end of every month you have some money to spend. When I graduated last year I decided to go job hunting to see if something good will come out of it. A school agreed to pay me #15,000 for a whole month after teaching three classes every day. When I look at myself, my degree, plus working for a whole month, then I will receive #15,000 which is not even up to $10. I decided to go and hustle online and make money. Hmmm! Is not that I want to be online most of the times, but because if I am not there, then I can't make money. I have to always find something to do to make money.

OUR RELIANCE TO PHONE
Just like I mentioned earlier, we do a lot with our phones. Aside making money online I also take out time to pray with some people online at least twice a week. Then whenever I want to relax I still use my phone to watch movies or chart with friends. I really wished that things were different, but this is just how things are today and I believe that it will get better by the day. I know that a time will come when I don't have to always create content in order to make money. I will soon have enough money that I will only be online when I want to, not because I need to make money.
