SURVIVING WITH OR WITHOUT NEPA LIGHT

Welcome back to scifi Multiverse community for week 30. I love the topic for this week because it is one thing that we have been facing seriously in Nigeria.

This is one country that was formally called the giant of African because of what we give to other countries. Nigeria is one country that supplies light to other countries and they enjoy it and live with light, but we end up living all through in darkness.

I remember when we use to be the envy of other countries when it comes to power supply. But today the reverse it the case.

A HUNGRY NATION, YET SUPPLYING FOOD TO OTHER COUNTRIES.

This is what Nigeria has turned into today. We supply kerosene, fuel, and what have you, but we have no access to all of that. What a nation?

One thing that I noticed that is common among most of African countries is that we have what it takes to be wealthy and live a normal live, but we don't have the kind of people needed to pull those resources for the benefits of the nation. The leaders that we have are the type that think only of themselves. They don't want to know if the people are dying of surviving the heat. They just live their lives and watch the masses die of starvation.

ELECTRIC POLLS EVERYWHERE AND YET NO LIGHT FOR MONTH.

This is all we have. Dead transformers and standing poll wires that gives the Hope that you will have light some day. But you will only wait and wait in vain. At most they will fixed the light and everyone will be happy and before one month you will hear the sound of transformer blowing and that will be the end of NEPA light in your area. Hmmm!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH NEPA LIGHT

I have lived with my family for more than seven years without NEPA light. Sometimes they bring the light around us, but my house don't have NEPA light because I asked them to remove it so that I will have peace of mind. The billing system was just too much and we couldn't pay for some time. We just decided to stay without it and concentrate on our feeding and the children school fees. It has actually been very helpful because I don't think of how to pay the excess bills anymore.

In summery, I believe that I can survive with or without NEPA light because my parents never had any of those and yet they survived. I prefer using Solar energy system of light to NEPA light so that I won't have high BP.

ELECTRIC POLLS EVERYWHERE AND YET NO LIGHT FOR MONTH

This cracked me up fr😂😂😂... Over here where I school, they've not had light for years and nobody is even expecting it, most people build houses without even working it 😂.

Solar is definitely the best option, especially with how bad the light situation is

Nigeria our country 😔
It's really heartbreaking that we have varieties of resources but still the citizens don't benefit from it.
Nigeria supplies to other countries of the world while her people are not even privileged enough to have a taste of all she's blessed with.

Removing your electricity?? In that case I'm guessing you depend on generator instead. If not, how then do you preserve your meals and power your devices?

We just have electric poles for fancy, they are everywhere but not serving any purpose as there is never power supply.
