PUTTING ALL MY BURDENS ON THE RIGHT PERSON.

Anxiety most times makes us go through things that we are not meant to go through in life. And no human being no matter who he or she is that doesn't have at one time or the other a situation that brings worries to our lives. We do go through it alot. But I believe that it is the method that we use to face it will determine whether we will come out strong or defeated at the end.

Movie straight to our topic for week 163, edition 1, talks about anxiety. What are we battling with right now and how do we handle situations like this? First when we look at anxiety that is a situation that makes us go through emotional problems. Sometimes it is from within or from without. Let's look at anxiety from the oxford dictionary: Anxiety means - An unpleasant state of mental uneasiness, nervousness, apprehension and obsession or concern about some uncertain event.

I agree totally with this definition of anxiety - An unpleasant state of mental uneasiness. I have some few things that makes me feel like this in some situation.

  • Fear of the unknown: most times I become anxious when I don't know what next to expect in any situation. Maybe I am been asked to do something and everyone has believe that I won't disappoint and so on. Sometimes because I know myself that I can still fail them. You know we are all humans. I can't guarantee hundred percent performance. Sometimes I get afraid of because I can't take the place of God. I'm a human being and I will love that people take me that way and stop putting me in a situation that I don't like.

  • Not meeting up my financial responsibility to my children: this is one of the situation that makes me very worried. When you have kids that you hardly meet up to their needs financial, it makes one feel bad. I always say to myself that I brought them out into this world. So is my responsibility to take care of them. So, when I am not able to do that it makes me feel bad and sometimes I feel that I have disappointed my children because they are all looking up to me.

When I went through @hopestylist post this morning concerning this same topic I was somehow overwhelmed at the point displayed in that post on how to deal with this anxiety in my life. I know that one of the major thing that I need to do is to put my whole trust in God. Maybe I have not been putting all my trust in God. Sometimes I trust myself and sometimes I trust others to do one thing or the other for me and when they get to a point where they can't deliver again it affects us badly.

Putting my whole trust in God will go a long way helping me relax a little. If I will know for sure that he cares and allow him carry my burden then I will be relieved. My people have a saying that if God is thinking about me, why should I get worried thinking about myself? I know that all that I need is to trust God to help me provide for my kids, to also help me not to disappoint others.

Anxiety is bound to happen but thank God for your last lines that speaks about depending on God. This is the surest way of coming out of anxiety. Thanks for sharing

anxiety is a norms in human life, we usually have the fear of unknown as you have mention, having responsibilities and hoping not to disappoint, putting you trust in God is a goof way to deal with anxiety like you have said. thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, i have picked something that i could use in my real life situation.

One of the best ways to deal with anxiety is to trust God and hold onto the scriptures that align with what we are going through. Though it may be hard at first, it's the best thing to do.
