Preservering as a student

What you see from afar is always different from what you see inside when you get into the school system. Is not an easy road to follow, but in all of these God is very faithful to the very end.

Week 31 of HSCP has an interesting topic. Education and workload. I have experience it myself and I know when we say workload. I will be sharing my very own experience while still a student.

Before I got admission into the higher institution of learning I had people talk about how difficult it is in school, how you will spend all that you have on you and it will never be enough. Some even said that he almost dropped out of school because of all that he faced while there. He narrated how he had to go to all his uncles and none was ready to help him. He told me that he had to start working from house to house even as a student for him to be able to finish. He breaks firewood for people, fetch water for them, and fo on errands for them just to get money for his feeding. After everything that he said I asked him a simple question: I said, but at the end you have graduated? He said yes. So I quickly told him that I will go there and see for myself. I know that I was speaking out of faith. But faith without action is dead. How can I just go to school without any financial preparations? Is not possible.

When I got into school, the first year wasn't that difficult for me, but the second year: omo I see shege ohh! Hahaha 😂. I now laugh about it whenever I speak of it because is past tense. The work load was just too much for me as at that time.

I was working to end a living. I had my family to take care of. I have my studies to face and to make matters worse I was made the class governor for my set. The whole thing was just too much, but I just had to carry it to the end and God saw me through also.
