OPPORTUNITY COMES BUT ONCE.

I saw this as the only opportunity that I have to go to school, even though if that is not what I want for myself.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. Though sometimes we want to ask for many questions that we don't have answers to. I have tried my best to tell myself that this is God's will for me, and it has simply helped me to calm down most times and don't be mad with myself or the university that I attended.

I was actually warned before hand but I refused to listen. I pretended that what affected others can't affect me because I will try my best. At a point I told myself that maybe they didn't try enough, but I will give it my best and what others say about this particular university will not stand. Hahaha 😂. Now that I have gone to see things for myself, I know better and most times I just laughed at my ignorant.

No wonder they say that what an elder sister down to see, even if a young naive boy climbs the tallest tree in this world he can't see it. I believe that experience made that elder see what he saw. I refused to listen and when it started happening to me I also try to warn others against coming to that same university, but they did not understand.

FIRST, LET ME ANALYZE WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE UNIVERSITY THAT I ATTENDED.

This is an affiliate university to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. When you get admission into the university by the school here in Akwanga. You will only stand with one feet because your fate will be finally decided by the main campus lecturers who will be sent in due time.

Secondly, you will be taught by your lecturer, given all the texts and assignments, but when it comes to writing of exams, the main campus can decide to pick any question from any affiliate or the main campus. You know what that meant? You may have no knowledge of the questions coming. Sometimes we enter into exams hall, see the questions and just start looking at the hall, because we have no idea of what to write.

Thirdly, no students from any affiliate can ever come out with first class results. When I asked why I was told that it is because we don't have any professor in our branch. That means that it doesn't matter how hard you study or even how brilliant you are. No first class for you. I know how hard I tried to study my books and clear all that needs to be cleared, but what I got is second class upper with all my efforts. Hmmm! I know how it was when I went for my NCE. I came out with the best results and I was given an award for that. I thought that it will be the same, but no way, this particular one is different.

THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT I MET WHILE IN SCHOOL.

One of the consolations that I have is the kind of sweet and lovely friends that I made while in school. We were so much into each other that we never wanted to finish our studies. I have five wonderful woman that we always read together to get ready for our exams and the rest. We became so close that since we left school we have been going to see how we are all doing. Making WhatsApp calls and the rest. It is actually a beautiful experience with them. I think that with this alone I am comforted.

WHY I CHOSE THAT SCHOOL DESPITE ALL WARNING.

At that point I had no idea of what to do. I am married with five kids. I also run a computer business center that stands as a financial strength for the family. I couldn't go to a far place for my studies because of my family and also business. I had to sacrifice everything comfort for my family.

Maybe I would have been better if I had attended another school. Though no one knows God's plans for us better than God and that is why we need to allow him direct us in our life endeavors.
