My motto and daily mantra

A personal moto is what drives one to keep moving despite all odds. I have seen people who draft out their personal motto and it helped them to conquer.

Welcome back to my blog this is a beautiful week and I know that it was designed to showcase us to the world. We have a very special topic to go with and I love the fact that I have the opportunity to participate. Let's look at the topic for the second edition.

I once developed a special motto for myself. It took me years to know what I want as my motto and when I got it I held unto it because it also became my personal mantra.

MY MOTTO
Against all Odds: fighting to rewrite my story. I came from a family that it seems as if everyone there has been cured never to become anything good in this life. The struggle keeps increasing as one is growing and that gave me a lot of concern. As a child I always wonder why I see some families better than mine is so many ways. I have always wanted to change my story. Changing the story means doing what others have not done on my family and when I was ready I knew that there is no going back. I have taken note of all the problems and also realized where my parents missed it. I am the eleventh child of my parents. I am also the last born. My parents had nothing so many children and can't feed them. I noted that one. They also never made any attempt to go to school or even to send their children to school. I also noted this. They also depending on people to help take good care of their families from time to time. This was also noted. Why was I noting all of these problems? Because I never wanted to be like them. I want to have a different identity. I was just tired of poverty and the life it comes with. Is a very bad lifestyle. The worse of it all is the life of illiteracy. Everyone in my family never finished primary school and holds the certificate. I also finished my primary school with no certificate to prove anything.

I started by going back to school and dragging myself out all the way from the life of illiteracy to literacy. By God's grace I graduated last two years and with a great result. I also decided to live the kind of life that is not dependant on other people. I started making my own money and also try to help others just like I grew up and saw people helping us to survive. All glory to God because I fight so hard to rewrite my story.

When I got to a level in my life I decided to use my life story and write a book which I titled : Against all Odds. Fighting to rewrite my story
