For this week 110 I will love to go with the topic that says - Experiences and Lessons. We are in July in 2025. And is only normal for one to have gathered enough experiences to share with friends, perhaps it will be of help to another person who may be lucky to read. I know that sometimes we experience things not just for us, but dor others as well. This has been my believe all along.

I have few experience and lessons to share, but there is this particular one that is very difficult to forget because it have left me with a mark that can't be erased.

MY EXPERIENCE
One faithful night three months ago, I was in my sitting room together with my kids because my husband traveled out of town, we heard noise outside the house and when we looked people were just running up and down and no one seems to know what the exact problem was. When I came closer to someone he pointed behind my house and I saw smoke going into the sky and that doesn't seem like it is just someone's house burning, it actually looks like a whole city is burning. I became alarm and started looking for my children because I know that one of them must have gone out of the house. I was right, my little boy followed his friends to go and see what was happening. That increase the tension for me and I started looking for him to no avail.

When I turned round I saw people running from a particular direction and the smoke was just increasing as people kept running. I also decided to go out of my street to know the exact thing that is happening. But the more I went closer to the scene people kept running backward showing that I can't get any closer. I had to join them to run. Then I was told that a tanker that brought fuel to the filling station very close to my shop exploded right in front of the filling station and all hell was let lose that night because people were thinking that it will affect all the houses close to the filling station.

I don't really know how God did it for us that night because according to what we were told, the person following the driver in that tanker took a very big risk by driving the tanker out of the filling station so that it won't affect the whole filling station. He risk his life and saved the whole situation that night, but before he could drive far the fire almost got him and he throw himself out of the moving tanker and fortunately he survived without much injury

@adaezeinchrist, your reflection on fire is so powerful.. The symbolism of transformation and purification really resonates. Can't wait to hear more of your thoughts

ha! I can't even begin to imagine the amount of courage that tanker driver must have summoned to take such a big risk with fire. Indeed not all super heroes wear cape because if it were to be me, I swear I will try to save my life first and let the fire fighters handle the situation. Loss of life can never equate loss of property. Thank God he was safe in the end.
