A VERY BAD CAR EXPERIENCE LAST YEAR

Traveling in this our Nigerian roads comes with lots of problems. So, one can hardly say that a journey was ever smooth especially if you are from my side. Sometimes when I am traveling I keep asking myself if our politicians are not seeing the road. Don't they go through the same road? Maybe the answer should be yes, they go through the same road but not with the same type of cars. The car maybe deceives them that they don't know how bad the experience on this road is. But I still doubt it. They know what's up. They see the road. The see the plight of the people, but they don't care. They don't want to know what you the masses are going through. So, day in day out you travel and never stop complaining. You must see what will be you very very unhappy in our Nigerian roads.

Okay friends let me welcome you back to my blog this beautiful new month. I can see a bright full month. We can't help it but just be positive no matter how bad things have become.

The craziest car experience.
Every experience with a car in Nigeria is crazy. Hahaha 😂. Does that sound too funny? Yeah. But I am right. The cars are bad. The drivers sometimes are crazy. The road itself is very bad. WOW 😲! What a combination. So, tell me how the experience in the car won't be crazy?

Okay guys let me take you through my experience with this driver as a passenger. You can't believe that I don't know how to drive. Yes. But I am planning to go to a driving school and learn how to drive. Until then I remain a humble passenger.

One faithful day last year I boarded a car from Nasarawa state to Enugu state. That journey has been longed postponed. So, I decided that I must go home even when I know that things are very hard to come by. This was a journey for six hours when our roads were good. But now the journey will take you up to ten to twelve hours to complete. It then means that if you board the car by 6am you will be home by 6 pm. As the journey began it was very okay. When we get to Benue state we started experiencing bad road. This bad road will take like two whole hours before it you will get to the end and start seeing good road. But for that day we stayed in that road from 11am till 4 pm. The car developed fault and the mechanic was no where to be found. It took two good hours to get the mechanic and start the job. When he came and discovered the problem, it took another two hours to get the people that will sell the parts for us to come over and sell. Four hours already gone. So before the problem will be fixed it took us till evening before the car was fixed.at last we were happy that we will finally leave that environment because it's actually a bushy area. By six pm we were read to move. The mechanic was settled and he left already where our driver discovered that the car is still faulty and we can't move anywhere with it. At that point we know that we can move anywhere with that car.

We slept somewhere in the village till the following day. We got another mechanic that came and discovered that the first mechanic did not get the required part. The drivers gave another money for the part to be bought. It was bought and by this time it was already 10 am. It took another three hours to fix the car. This time the car was properly fixed and we were ready to move. We started the journey this time from that place by 3 pm. We got home by 9; 30 pm. This was a journey that was sopposed to be for twelve hours in the first place. But we spent two whole days on the road.

That is the reason why I said at the beginning that our road makes the journey very crazy. We can't stop praying for our country for things to be better. The crazy experience was never meant to be there, but the bad road made it so. Thanks to God that at the end we went home in peace. In fact when we came to our village everyone forgot the bad experience and began to appreciate God for bringing us home safely.

😄This is Nigeria. Cars breaking down while traveling is not a funny experience at all.

Well, they say everything happens for a reason, God knows best why you were delayed on that journey. Sorry about that experience, but I expected the driver to have looked for another car for you people then repair his car in peace.

Those politicians know very well that our roads are bad, they ply the roads too, they just choose to give it a deaf ear.

Nigerian roads are unpredictable as they are terrible and have contributed significantly to the shortened lifespan of our vehicles. Thank God you arrived home safely despite the hurdles

This is one thing that annoy when traveling drivers fail to check their vehicles before embarking on a journey
