A LITTLE FROM PRIVATE SECTOR AND A LITTLE FROM THE GOVERNMENT SECTOR WILL BALANCE THE EQUATION.

Frankly speaking, government sector in every aspect is more flexible and people who work there are more advantageous than the people who work with private sector. But it is still in the private sector that we can get good jobs done the way we want it. This is not something we hide to say it, or maybe we don't want people to hear. Is all over the place. Especially here in Nigeria. We are always taken government owned schools for granted. Treat it anyhow. Come to work any time we like. If it is school we teach when we want and if we don't feel like teaching the children stays like that.

MY PREFERENCE
I will have to be selfish while answering this particular question. First, when it comes to the kind of work that I will like to do, maybe as a teacher or maybe working with the ministry of education because that is my line. I can't lie. I will only work with the government. Do you know why? The pay is high to compare to that of private. Secondly you will get your gratuity when you are finally done working. But what will the private do for me? I don't think that they have anything to give me. When you work with the private sector like say as a teacher, you will work all the blood in you out before been paid. But for those working under government sector, they are well paid. You will heart things like - traveling allowance. Sitting allowance and the rest of them.

When we take a look at government hospitals, they are well equipped. Highly educated doctors and nurses are found there. Good facilities, but poor management of those equipment is one of the major problems that we have. Same thing with government schools. We have all the money to equip the schools and give the children the best education that they deserve. But the question is, who will take proper care of those equipment given to both schools and hospitals? Everyone hired. No one owns the place. We all say that it belongs to the government. But who is the government? No body. That is it.

We have big doctors who work in the government hospitals but if you want to get their attention, you will have to meet them in their private hospitals.

Aside from work or anything related to payment of staff, private sector is the best place to get a good services. Anytime I want a good treatment, good education, good attention, good and working equipment. I will go to the private sector. That is the irony. When I need a good pay, I go to work in a government sector. But when I want a good services, I go to a private sector to get the kind of services that I deserve. I know of Nigeria, because that is where things like this happens. I don't know of other countries. Maybe they do well when it comes to handling the government properties, be it in school or hospitals.
