All Cheating Individuals Will Also Meet Their Waterloo

Cheating has been some people's way of survival in life because they never wanted to struggle for anything before they had it in life.
It happened that I have been cheated on so many times because I always trust people easily and they will end up using my trust as a weapon against me, that's fine as long as I am still alive I know life goes on.

It's tough for me to trust my friends again once I start doubting them when it comes to money, so I try not to do that.

One of my friends came to me with a business proposal; I have the capital, he has the concept, and we agree to a 60/40 split.

I will be taking 40% and he will be having the remaining 60% it was fine by me because he's my friend and I have another thing I am doing that fetches me money so the business is just an additional income for me unlike him that he doesn't have another source of income, since he lost his job.

Being the wonderful friend that I am, I felt sorry for him and gave him the largest portion because he has a family to support. However, I was shocked to learn that after the business was successful, he transferred 20% to me rather than 40%.

My Reaction

I was about to leave the house to confront him since I was so furious and I quickly dressed. However, I recalled that my father had warned me about fighting for cash since, while I know the beginning of a conflict, I cannot predict its conclusion. He explained further that, you are unaware of the individual's intentions when they are cheating you in such a severe manner.

Therefore, I am forced to let him go along with everything, including the business and the money. I gave everything up for him, and now I'm facing my work head-on.

A few months later, I needed to be in his neighbourhood for something and ran into someone I knew. I took advantage of the chance to ask about him and I was told about his dishonest behaviour and learned how it led to his arrest and significant financial losses as a result.

Since not everyone can cheat and get away with it, I felt awful for him.
According to what I've been informed, his company failed because he was unable to fund it as successfully as he had in the beginning.

Sometimes some people think that they are smart because they cheat you and you didn't do anything about it. They forget that the law of karma is real and they will reap it.

I didn't fight him back, not out of fear, but rather because my father had warned me. And ever since that business, I have made more money than the business we had together.
What if after our argument, he injured me somehow? So, letting him leave is merely a straightforward method of allowing him to reap the consequences of his actions.
