Its allowed :) you can also post AI images here. But you can then add the #aiimages so people know

I do. Don't know if that means it is allowable, but no one has said anything.
Someone said I must include a hashtag #aiimages, and note it especially if it's a long form blog
Not "must", but it's a good thing to be on the safe side.
In long-form posts (I call them articles), make sure you state somewhere that images are AI generated.

For images in the blog, that is the custom, yes. Some care more than others.
