I made it to my friend's wedding | (Week187)
Greetings to everyone on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog today. It’s a great pleasure to write and share my entry for this weekend’s experience challenge. I will be tackling the first topic which requests us to write about a wedding we have been there before and the kind of gifts that was presented to the family. This a great and interesting topic and I am glad to write and share mine here with everyone as well.
The wedding I will be talking about today is that of my friend whom I attended School with. He had his wedding last month and it was a great experience to have been a witness to. It was done on a Saturday and we started the preparations towards that before that day.
I bought new material and sewed new clothes for this special day because we wanted to look nice and clean on that day. Guess, what it was white clothes I sewed and my other friends too did the same. As friends what we did as a contribution to support our friend's wedding or as a gift was a goat that we bought for him. Not only that, we contributed and gave him 300 Ghana Cedis which is equivalent to 72 Hive. We added this amount to the goat and gave it out to him as our gift.
We all understand that a wedding involves a lot of money in order to get it done and run smoothly. A lot of people attended the wedding and on that day, he received a lot of gifts from people, especially in Cash. Although I didn’t know the total amount he received at the end of the day then I can boldly say he received massive support from the friends and family that were present at the wedding.
We had a lot of fun and it was an interesting experience for me. I understand that I will also do a wedding but not anytime soon, lol, but I am also planning and working on that as well. Maybe you all will see my flyer when the time is due. This is my first time participating in this weekend experience challenge and I will make it a point to be a regular participant as of today.
Thank you all for your time and attention to reading this post. See you again in my subsequent posts.

congratz to your friend. thanks for sharing with us. It's actually the first time I've seen people dress like this for weddings before but then again I didn't go to many weddings. I'm used to the american or chinese style weddings O.O
