Computing Skills - All thanks to my Uncle...
Hello everyone, I welcome you all once again to my blog and I am very excited to write and participate in this week’s prompt. I am thrilled to be a participant in this week's engagement prompt. Today I will tackle the first topic, "THAT ONE SKILL”. This week's topics are amazing as usual, the HiveGhana team is doing the most on the Hive blockchain and I think they deserve applause, Kudus!!! to you guys. Without much ado, let's dive into today's topic.
Every individual is talented with a particular skill and that is what makes us unique among each other. No matter who you are, you have a hidden or known talent (skill) that when developed will give you a good opportunity. I have a lot of these happening in my community and everyone here can testify to that as well. We have some people good with content creation both vlogs and blogs, whilst others too are just good at vlogging only likewise. Other skills include; computer expert, gaming expert, problem solver, motivational speaker, leadership skills, presentation skills, programming, and a whole lot that you can think about.
That one skill that I am good at is computing skills, and I think if I had developed much on that, I could have been somewhere else. But then, I haven't left it behind although I studied a course that isn't much related to that though. I am still developing into that and currently studying some online courses to improve that as well. Being an expert in computing started when I was a kid I used to like playing computer games and I had to go to one of my uncle's workplace and use his computer all the time.
He also taught me a lot of things in computing although by then I was still young I was picking things up gradually. He used to give me assignments to do including typing, hardware repairs, software repairs, and a whole lot more. Computing skills are one of the best skills that I encourage everyone to learn and become more talented in. Why do I say so? Today we can see that technology is taking over the world and everything is now shifting to the side of technological advancement.
Everything is now modernized and technology-based system, from schools, hospitals, agriculture, industries, finance, etc. All these sectors are advanced in a modernized way where the use of technology is the order of the day. Without much knowledge in computing you might find it difficult at work these days because the system is adjusting to the use of computers in doing everything.
Mind you the aspect of computing is very broad and you can master one that can take you far indeed. I am currently working on mastering Programming Skills, which is now my main target in computing at the moment. Yeah, I have started that journey, I know it is not going to be easy because I have to complement it with my work. I know I can make it through hard work and dedication. Never underestimate your skill, work on developing it and it shall save you one day for sure.
I would like to use this opportunity to say a very big thank you to everyone who read my post. Thank you all for your time and attention.

Of course computing skills is gradually becoming a necessity.Almost all jobs ask for proficiency in Microsoft suite.
This is probably one of the best skills a person could have.
That why I always give kudos to anyone who have computing skills. The skills is too broad and is becoming a necessary things in the world.
Thanks for sharing this with us
I agree with you @abu78. Everyone need to have a certain amount of knowledge about the computer. You've got a very relevant skill @abu78. Being a computer expert in this generation is highly recommended.
There's always that one person that opens us up to our strength, reading this reminds me of how I started at a young age too with the help of an uncle who was a family friend. Though he is late now, but the skill he planted all those years ago is very much alive and evolving
