Woman- osho
Hello everyone, I hope you all are fine. I am also doing well.
Today I am going to post another book review, which is of the book of women by Osho. You must have heard about Osho. He was a spiritual leader back in the nineties. There are so many books written by him, and his videos are popular on YouTube as well.
He was basically from India and then shifted to a different country and wrote many books, and he was considered a controversial figure, but there is no harm in reading a book. Trying to know the mentality of those people who lived before us.
I have liked Osho in many aspects, and I have differences with him in other aspects as well. I have watched many of his videos, and I find him a very calm person, and I agree with him in so many ways.
My roommate gifted me this book a few months back, and this book is written in Urdu, so it was not much of a big task for me to complete it within a few weeks. This was a translated copy.
Diving into the book, I would suggest that it is a book written about women, how important is the female energy, the feminine energy. Osho has written that women have to align with their feminine energy, do not drift away from who they actually are, and he is kind of suggesting that they need to identify themselves, they need to first find their own identity and then align themselves with it.
One of the things that I really admired about this book is how Osho has simplified the complex concepts of spirituality and philosophical learnings and has related them to women. Osho has suggested men to relook, reevaluate and analyze their relationships with women around them and has told them to value the feminine energy, and I find it really striking.
I have met so many of my friends who are now married. They tell me that after they have got married, most of them have found positivity in their life, a positive change. They have become responsible in carrying all because of the feminine energy.
Osho has suggested women to break the cycles of conventional thinking and lead toward empowerment, no matter what. And I totally agree with that. And I personally believe that women should be empowered in all aspects of their lives. Women are not mere emotional beings, they are so powerful and they have so much potential. If treated that way.
Overall, I would give this book a five out of five, and I would suggest all of you to give it a go and read this in English or whatever language it is available for you. It is a thought-provoking book, and I find it a must-read.
