Peaceful Wednesday Walk

"Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving."
— Albert Einstein

Hello everyone. I hope that you all are fine out there. A few days back we came to know that my father has diabetes. It was mild, so there was nothing to worry about. Still, the doctor suggested some changes in the lifestyle of my father. My father is currently in his 50s and still goes to a high school to teach his students.

The doctor told us to change the diet plan of my father, reduce his sugar and cholesterol intakes. Also, he suggested my father to go for morning or evening walks. Such sudden changes were difficult for my father at this age. This is why I decided to help him out and be his companion in all the changes.

That is my father in light green dress sitting with my uncle in white dress.

I go with him during his morning walks which is obviously beneficial for my in both long and short term. Just trying to do what every good son would gladly do.

Today, during our walk in the nearby park, I saw some people doing Yoga. It felt promising and appealing, their bodies seemed more flexible. I might try that as well. I will share that experience.

This change of including daily walk has brought major changes in our lives and most importantly in the life of my father. He is more active and does his chores all by himself. Moreover, we both do not put sugar in our tea.

The nearby park called the Jinnah park has a really positive vibe to it as everyone here is conscious about their health and they usually greet each other with a smile. That is something really great to start ones morning with.

I saw this really adorable and cute pair of siblings during my morning walk. The sister was walking behind her brother. It just felt so wholesome.

What a shame that your father has diabetes, dear friend @abrarhussain, the good thing about the situation is that it is not serious, and that with diet, medication and walking, it can be regularized.
It is great to know that you are accompanying your father throughout this process, thank you very much for sharing these photographs of the surroundings of the walks.
have a great day
