The painter was so absorbed in his painting that he forgot that he had to take his daughter from school. It was three PM and his daughter was waiting outside the gate. Luckily and thankfully he arrived at the time and picked her up and took her home. She was very disappointed in her father and forgave him when she saw that her father had painted her portrait.
