Black and white photography in cultural dress.
Hey everyone. I hope you all are fine. I'm also doing fine. This is my entry to the #monomad challenge.
For a very long time, I was not able to share my photography in this community. I know that black and white photography is something of an amazing skill, and it requires focus to take amazing shots, and to add black and white filters and do the necessary editing.
But I have been visiting this community frequently to witness some of the really amazing shots, which made me realise that I should also contribute in this contest. So, here is my entry, in which I am sharing my own pictures taken with a professional camera.
Uh, I am going to talk about the Pakistani culture and dress. This is not a very different attire. I am wearing something that is very ordinary, put on. It is a dress which every other Pakistani puts on. Be it from a village or from a city, people wear it all the time, even in summers or winters.
Knowing that Pakistan is one of the hottest countries, people just put it on. So, I was in my village when these pictures were taken to attend a ceremony.
You can see in the background, it is clearly a village. It is my own village where I grew up as a child. He shifted to the city in 2007. But I have so many memories.
And talking about the pictures, the pictures came out really good. The background gave it a really classy touch. I personally admire and like the rusty backgrounds, and the lighting came out just the way I desired.
I personally believe that when you add black and white editing to the photograph, the truth comes to the forefront. You can see that I am generally happy and I'm lost in these pictures in my village. This is something I really admire about photography in black and white.
Thank you everyone for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do follow my account for more such content. Have a nice day ahead. Take care.
