A new church- Dailyprompt

A majestic steeple pierced the sky as Mumbai's new church was unveiled. Years of fundraising and volunteer work had paid off. The community gathered, awestruck, as Pastor Thompson dedicated the building. Tears of joy flowed as the congregation sang hymns, filling the sacred space with warmth and gratitude. It soon became the only familiar point by which church was known and it became famous too. These were the scenes in 1920. However, now, the then new church building was crumbling. It was upto the new generation to either let go off the hardwork of their ancestors or resotre this majestic building back to how it looked to their ancestors. It took them 2 years to restore it but their persistence and devotion finally paid off. The entire city was delighted to see the reopening of the church.
