Unforgettable Scene

Last year, my neighbor had their town's annual meeting, which was held in our compound. She informed me ahead of time, and she told me I would help in the cooking of food. I totally agreed to help, being my neighbor. She's the gentle type and someone who has this attitude of minding her business as well as her husband.
She told me she would be needing my plastic chairs. I had four plastic chairs, which I do use in my shop. When the day finally came, she bought the foodstuffs, and we started preparing the food. I sent my daughter to carry all four plastic chairs from the shop.
As we were cooking, two men entered and sat on my plastic chairs. The two men began to discuss some issues that could cause an argument. I was just observing, listening to their conversations while being focused on what I was doing. A few minutes later, two women entered and within a few minutes of entering, they heard their discussion and intruded.
The argument continued, but ideas were less concerned with what they were discussing since I was so glued to what ideas were doing.
After serious arguments, their nature changed totally to something else. The argument had changed drastically to an unwanted countenance. I called my neighbor to tell her to talk to them so they could calm their argument before it led to a fight, since I was sensing the spirit of the fight. My major concern was what I had experienced before. I don't want that to happen this time around. I was so observant of my chairs.
A few minutes later, I washed my hands and dashed to my shop just to check on my kids. The next thing I heard was "kpoooo”. One had used his spirit of aggression to hit my chair on the floor. When I turned back, what I saw was the pieces of my chair flying on the floor. I grew to agree, but who should I blame for this was the only question left in my head.
My neighbor rushed out and got furious. Her anger superseded mine. This made me quiet, waiting for an apology from the offender. After a while, he was still talking and shouting at the second man. He was not ready to take any blame. The husband of my neighbor arrived shortly and got angry at this man. I didn't have to ask anyone to pay for my chair. Instead, I took the remaining two chairs away before another angry man destroyed them again. Again, I was not even ready to argue.
That same day was like a double wahala, or I can say double trouble. It was as if someone had caused that day for me. The anger in me got intense. I dropped the seat in front of my shop, thinking I had taken the four complete seats. I got back and saw these people running to my compound. At some points, I thought maybe it's because of the party, but that was my little thought until I got closer to the compound. These two were still arguing, and their argument was so intense. My neighbor began to cry that she shouldn't have invited them for the ceremony, but then they must be present, being part of the town she came from.
While ideas talking never knew their shouting had led to another raising of chairs. My neighbor said See your remaining chair on the floor. I was shocked because I thought ibid carried the remaining 3 seats unknowingly to me that i left one behind taking only two. That last seat was lying on the floor with two kegs off. My body did not carry me to say any unwanted words; instead, I took myself and left the compound to my shop. I was not ready to hear different people telling me sorry.
I saw my neighbor coming to my shop after raising my head. She began to apologize, saying she would buy the seats that got broken. I disagreed with her statement, although one plastic chair costs about 12-15000 Naira. I told her to forget it. I later told her she must not let me see those men. I also added, don't let them come to me for an apology because it will aggravate my anger. She said she would tell them but was still furious about the pains they had caused me. She also said she was not going to forgive them. I don't know, but somehow the next day, these two came to my shop together, each holding a chair. I was not ready to accept those chairs, but after their apologies, they said I should accept the chairs. They also told me not to reject them.
