Letting Go For Sake of Sucess
Letting go of something is just to enhance your growth is very important in life. We all need something that can bring happiness and great smiles to our faces, but not something that can bring us regrets. Moving backward or remaining stagnant is not the best option, and when you see something that is drawing you backward or not bringing forwardness into your personal growth, you just need to let go of such things.
A friend of mine has been just like a devil in my path. He never wanted my progress, instead wanted me to be on the same level as her. When I bring up any form of idea, she always turns it down, whereas hers must be considered. She thinks so timid and backward. I was not ready to change to her nature, even with my impact.
Most times I kept saying, “how did I come across this friend of mine?” But then, we met after giving me a helping hand. After some time, I decided to let her go. I never talked to her again and has been ignoring her for sure. I can say that I am not where I was after departing from her. That's life, and we just need to be wise in whatever we are doing. Life is just too sweet to miss out on the impact of growth in us.
Talking about relatives or our family members, the same would go to them. Not letting them go will make you feel or remain in a stagnant state, or even take you from your usual state down to the other step of the ladder. We all aim to climb to the top of the ladder, and when we discover someone who wants to take us a step or some steps backwards, we just need to let that person or those people go out of our lives. Even if he or she is our family member, we have to let that person go just to save our lives.
Making progress nowadays come with time and different thinking. We have to see ways of making a head way, and when we discover something or someone, being it a family member or friend that wants to deprive us of that opportunity, we just have to cut all ties with such fellow.
One thing we need to think of is that, when our family members are trying to drive us from going the wrong way, we don't need to object to it. They are the ones who can actually show or tell us the truth about life.
Going through the wrong path is effortless, but coming out of it isn't easy. This is why we must find a way to listen to our family members at all times.
In another way, when they tried to draw us back from our success, we didn't have to listen, instead they would run from them. On a normal day, they should be the ones to be happy when we are growing, but when our happiness is causing them sadness, such a person just needs to get out of the way to progress.
If the family members are not my kids or wife, then i have to let go of them just for my success.
