Gap Year, The Best Teacher

The best teacher is not just that person you see, but the way you plan your life. Planning your life can be of great help, especially when it comes to the year gap between doing something tangible in your life and making some tangible decisions. A gap year involves that gap some would use for proper planning. A year gap can be used to make better decisions for a better life change.

Gap year is the best decision to make, although it depends on how you use it and how tactical you make such decisions.
One of my husband's friends said to my husband before he got married that “I will make money and build my house as well as buying myself a car before planning on getting a woman”. He was so serious with his words. Then, my husband got married to me. Although he had nothing before we got married. I was so sure that one-day things would get better. I can say that we are not struggling, but are enjoying it. My kids are also not suffering. Even though my husband did not take a gap year, we are still doing so well.

My husband's friend had to make such decisions. My husband asked him if that decision of his would favour him, but he said it would. He started a business of buying machines on higher purchases for people. After a few months, he was balanced. He bought land where he built his house. A few months later, he got himself a car. Everything was just moving smoothly for him. Although he loves carrying women. This has been his weakness. As time went on, he got married.

So, he had planned himself so well to have achieved something.

A gap year is better if properly planned, but worse if one's planning turns out to be a fiasco. He was able to achieve his aim because of the way he carried out his plans. I saw people taking a gap year and turning out to be ruined just because of improper planning.

Every so often, this year gap of a thing is something that can help one think properly, just for a good way of making proper decisions to fine-tune one's life. Most people do this just because of a lack of money to go to school. When I was done with my OND, I decided to stay to take a break before going for my HND. This was a gap I took just because of financial differences/difficulty. It was hard for my parents, but I had to stay to gather myself properly with some money before going back to school.

So, it helps one to make the best decisions, and sometimes, people misuse it for something else. Instead of using it to rethink properly, they use it to make bad decisions.

Gap year does favor most people, but do not favor some people. Although it depends on how you build yourself up. So, it serves as a time to build up the best decision-making, but not for procrastination. When you procrastinate in this regard means you can't make the gap year a successful one.
