Cutting Budget in This Season of Celebration
The celebration period always comes with a lot of spending. Spending by buying foodstuffs in the house, or by buying clothes for the kids. Kids cannot do without wearing clothes, most especially when it comes to the Christmas celebration. Celebrating Christmas or New Year's can take a lot of money. Although this will be for those who have kids. Someone who has four kids must be able to buy clothes for all my kids, no matter the situation of things.

In my country, things are on the high side of life, but trying hard to cut one’s cloth according to one’s size would be the best. Overspending can result in something we cannot expect. While spending, extra care needed to be put in place to reduce robust spending. Spending above one’s budget is something that can cause a serious setback to humanity. The only ones who can be capable of spending a lot of money are those who are well-to-do and whose pockets are robust.
My husband has spent a lot this season, and he still has a lot to cater for until the end of this month. So, tasking him, or telling him to buy the kids' clothes, would not sound so well. Although he had said it before, now that he will now give me some money to buy the clothes. Buying their clothes will be my priority.
While spending in this season, one must always be mindful of the way he/she spend so as not to eat deep into his/her savings. Budgeting involves how you plan your earnings. Planning starts from savings, spending, miscellaneous, and the rest.
Anyway, we must find a way to always make part of our salaries saved for future purposes. In the life of every human being, there must be a rainy day. This day is the day that one may be running Hector Skitter looking for fund to raise. It may be something so serious, but whatever way, managing our budget is the best option.
Sometimes we have to set some money aside just as a budget for any form of celebration at all. I remembered last year I had to prepare a little food during Christmas just because of the situation in the country. When you are living in Nigeria, you must learn how to manage your earnings, or else, you will live to remember that day. Although I still manage to buy two pairs of clothes for my kids and shoes as well. This time around, the house rent has taken a major part of my husband’s fund away. We had to search for a room and parlor apartment after we had been given a quit notice by my wicked landlord. This alone ate deep into our budget. We have budgeted a lot on this Christmas, but the house issue has taken the plan away. Sometimes one has to plan, and something else would linger in one’s budget and would take a huge part away. This is what had happened to my husband and me. We just have to manage until these rent issues subside. Although we have managed to pay for two years upfront, just to have the mind to save further.
In another way, it is not necessary to spend, but then someone with kids cannot do without spending. At least your kids will need clothes and must eat good food, which is tagged Christmas food. This will make them feel comfortable and at home.
