Between Been Literate and Illiterate

Literacy is the best descriptor of cooperation and calm-mindedness. This is just my little way of cooking up the word literacy as to what I have seen happening. Although not in all situations.

Back in the days when our forefathers did not have the means of schooling. Everything was calm and balanced and without dispute. This means in their little way, they can control themselves even though we still have some that are yet to adapt to changes. When you are stubborn, not even education can change you unless it comes from your mind. Someone I know vividly happened to come out with a good grade at the university. He's well known in my community, but his behavior is more or less like someone illiterate. This showed that we still have some literate people who still behave like illiterate people, while some illiterate people still behave just as if they are literate.

Back to the first point of view. In the society of today, literate people do have a say in what they are happening around them. They influence, except for those who do not want to mingle with others. They know how to bring calmness when two people are disputing among themselves. In my second case, not all can act this way. Some literate people act abnormally. This is why most people ask if they went to school or school went through them.

The way we tackle issues matters most when it comes to who is literate or not. Most people act foolishly, and after checking properly, they are the educated type.

One thing is for sure: we have the educated and literate. When you are educated, it means you are capable of receiving a formal education. This means you have gone to a high school and a tertiary school. But being literate means one can be able to read and write properly.

Being literate can make for better parents and neighbors. This is because, as parents, we can be able to help out our kids educationally. Learning does not just end in school but also at home. As a parent, one can be able to help out his or her children when they are back from school and speak good English to them.

Being literate is also helpful. I'm building a solid relationship with our neighbors. Most times when you have adamant neighbors, what you need to apply is your sense of being literate.

Being literate does not mean that people will not hurt their fellows; it can only reduce the risks of being hurt. Just like what I had mentioned above, we have some literate people who behave just like illiterate human beings. So, it does not matter whether you are literate or illiterate. Most illiterate people act more wisely than the literate.

Sorry to say, in most nations today, illiteracy is combined with the nature of growth that the government is capable of bringing into such nations. We have the right to vote, but as a result of illiteracy, we vote for those we do not even like, as a result of just the peanut that has been given. The issue of illiteracy is one of the setbacks we have in most countries today.

Most rich men had decided to go to school just to acquire knowledge on how to manage their wealth. Without being literate, it would be difficult to manage what you have properly.
